At the 39th session of the Working Group of Universal Periodic Review (UPR) on 1-12 November 2021 in Geneva, Lithuania offered human rights recommendations to Greece, Tajikistan and Ireland.
On 8 November, in reaction to the events at the Polish border, the Permanent Representatives of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland in Geneva urgently met with UNHCR‘s Assistant High Commissioner for Protection Ms Gillian Triggs and the IOM‘s Senior Regional Advisor for Europe and Central Asia Mr Manfred Profazi.
On 4th of November, Lithuania, together with 34 other participating states of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), invoked the Vienna Mechanism in relation to ongoing serious human rights violations in Belarus and the instrumentalization of the illegal migration by the Lukashenka regime.
Lithuania's Embassy in South Korea begins its work upon the arrival in Seoul of the Lithuanian representative Vilijus Samuila.
On 14-15 October, Ambassador Vaidotas Verba, Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the International Organizations in Vienna, participated at a conference „ODIHR: three decades and ready for the future Democracy, human rights and security“ marking the 30th anniversary of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).

On 5 October, Lithuania took the floor at the Human Rights Council 48th Session’s Interactive Dialog with the United Nations (UN) Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms Nada Al-Nashif, based on the oral update on the human rights situation in Ukraine.
On 29-30 September, the Permanent Representatives of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland in Geneva met with the Director General of the International Organization for Migration António Vitorino and UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi to discuss the challenges posed by irregular migration from Belarus to the EU.

On September 27, Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization (WTO) Donatas Tamulaitis met with WTO Director General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and discussed preparation for WTO Ministerial confernce (MC12).
On September 22, Ambassador Vaidotas Verba, Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the International Organizations in Vienna and Under Secretary for Nuclear Security of the United States Department of Energy Jill Hruby signed a Joint Statement concerning Counter Nuclear Smuggling.
On 15 September, the Ambassador Gediminas Varvuolis bestowed upon the Mayor of Hiratsuka Katsuhiro Ochiai the Lithuanian State decoration – the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit for Lithuania. The Mayor Ochiai was awarded for the active promotion and development of bilateral cooperation between Japan and Lithuania in the field of culture, sports and youth exchange. Support of Hiratsuka – the host town of the Lithuanian Olympic and Paralympic team, provided to Lithuanian athletes was indispensable in preparation for Tokyo 2020 Games.
September 23, the anniversary of the liquidation of the Vilnius ghetto in 1943, is commemorated as the National Day of Remembrance of the Genocide of Lithuanian Jews.
On 15 September in Paris, the Permanent Delegate of Lithuania to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Jolanta Balčiūnienė presented her letters of credence to UNESCO's Director-General Audrey Azoulay.
